A technical and customer support void became evident in the physical security industry beginning early in 2002-03 as corporate acquisitions, mission paradigms and focus-on-support outpaced the ability for the new or larger corporations to adapt to their client and market needs.

The smaller, agile, security integrators and contractors became part of larger sized, multi-state, national and international companies whose primary goal was to enter or expand their footprint within the growing security industry.

The White Sand Model

White Sand services are typically considered for long-term leased or permanently-owned
client sites or installations

We are focused on being the physical security design and engineering liaison that facilitates
client requirements with leading-edge market offerings, installed by contractors who meet and
exceed industry standards for the installation and maintenance of such offerings while
remaining price reasonable.

White Sand seeks to insure a mutually beneficial working relationship between all project stakeholders from the client down to the installer.  In negotiated situations, to reduce project cost and risk,
White Sand leverages the institutional knowledge and lessons-learned of all the member, with
their competency and comfort levels for the installing, operating and maintaining of a system.

Our services are available throughout the entire project life-cycle

On current projects, WSS is brought in to assist, manage and mentor contract requirements

White Sand Products & Recommendations

White Sand designs are product and device agnostic by nature.  We shy away from the proprietary.

Even in our assemblies insure use of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) items.

White Sand specifies and recommends products that can be supported by the site contractor
and come from manufacturers who have had a strong history of excellent engineering,
technical and after installation support.

White Sand also provides

component-panel system designs, engineering, fabrication, assemblies and testing services.  These assemblies are typically incorporated into the overall system to support unique site or user  requirements that may be outside their installation contractor's comfort zone.

We have shipped our assemblies around the world for others to install.
